This is a Loners on Wheels park and also member of Passport America. It is very nice & clean park, away from highways & rail roads. It is not a resort but has all you need for overnight or longer stays. Would stay here again.

Campground was completely rebuilt after the floods & is in very good condition. The staff is very friendly & helpful. Shuttle service to the French Quarter was very much appreciated. Yes, the drive to the campground thru the damaged industrial section is not pretty but once in the campground it is very safe & secure. The gates are locked at night & we never had any concerns while there. We will definitely be going back there next year & stay on the waterfront again. Their new name is Pontchartrain Landing, check out their website, they have big plans for the camground. We paid Passport rates.

Inexpensive place to stay while traveling, not really a campground but has what you need for a night or two. Dump station is available in the park. Pay by leaving your money in an envelope, so you can arrive at any hour.
